Beth Anisman is a seasoned advisor to consumers of legal services, managers of legal teams and the industries providing legal products and services. B&Co was founded by Ms. Anisman as a platform to provide end-to- end services in the areas of strategy, operations, planning and improvements of organizations of all sizes that touch the legal industry. Her distinguished career as an executive overseeing the delivery of legal services and other legal support services to in-house legal and compliance departments provides her with an extraordinary wealth of knowledge and expertise. Over the years, her roles have taken her through rapid organic growth, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and the largest bankruptcy proceedings in the history of the financial industry.
As the former Global Chief Administrative Officer of Legal, Compliance and Audit for Lehman Brothers and subsequently the Chief Operating Officer for US Legal at Barclays Capital, Ms. Anisman has amassed experience managing large, complex organizations. Earlier in her career, as a real estate attorney managing the Corporate Real Estate and Technology & Commercial Contracts legal functions at Lehman Brothers, she was the lead attorney responsible for building Lehman Brothers’ 3000-person captive site in India and served as acting General Counsel for that operation while she conducted the search for her replacement.
Ms. Anisman is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Bortstein Legal Group (www.blegalgroup.com) and a founding partner of Apogee Legal (www.apogeelegal.com). She also serves as the President of the Board of The Shield Institute (www.shield.org) and sits on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Board of Family & Children’s Services (www.jbfcs.org), where she co-chairs the Real Estate Committee.
